How to Create a Quoting Spreadsheet

Create a quoting spreadsheet by using software available on your computer or online. Quoting spreadsheets contain prices for services or quotes you plan to offer to a potential customer or vendor. These spreadsheets can be created by using templates that can be downloaded from Microsoft, Google Documents or OpenOffice. Once the templates are downloaded, they can be customized adding your specific products and information. Use the quotes when communicating with your customers and vendors for a more professional presentation of your quoted offers.

      Open Excel 2010 and select "File" on the ribbon. Select "New." Type "Quote" in the search box. Review the available quote templates that appear.
