How to Connect LG Rumor 2 to PC & Bluetooth and Software


The LG Rumor2 LX265 mobile phone has a four-line QWERTY keyboard, Bluetooth, IM, music and Sprint mobile e-mail. This phone is highly personalized with the ability to exchange back plates. It has a 1.3 megapixel camera plus a microSD memory port. The microSD memory card is important as it is used to transform the Rumor2 into a portable music player.

Transfer Music/Files between the Rumor and Desktop Computer

  • Insert a microSD card into the slot on the right side of the phone.

  • Connect the phone to your desktop with the USB cable.

  • Select "Transfer Music" on the phone by pressing the "OK" key after highlighting "1 Yes" on the display.

  • Go to your desktop and use Windows Explorer, which will have now opened up, and you can drag and drop files from the desktop to the phone just like another directory.

Use the Rumor Bluetooth to Connect to Your PC or Other Bluetooth Device

  • Set your secondary Bluetooth device into the pairing mode.

  • Open the "Tools" menu on your phone by first making sure it is in the standby mode and the slide is closed. then press the "OK" key and select "Tools."

  • Select "Bluetooth" and press the "OK" key to choose "Pair with Hands-Free." If "Bluetooth Wireless Technology" is turned off follow the prompts to turn it on by pressing the "Left Soft Key."

  • Highlight secondary Bluetooth device on the list of found devices and press the "OK" key.

  • Enter "0000" pin code and press the "OK" key to initiate the pairing process.

  • Enter the device's name and press the "Left Soft Key" for "Save."

  • Connect to your device by pressing the "Left Soft Key."

  • Consult your secondary Bluetooth device's manual for specific pairing instructions.
  • You may not need to enter a pin code.
  • If you purchase a Bluetooth headset to listen to music, make sure that it is music capable.
