How to Use Paper Towels As Diaper Liners
Cloth diapers can be a mess to clean up, but the job can be easier by placing a diaper liner between the baby and the diaper. While you can buy cloth liners for use with cloth diapers, they come with a cost and the initial investment can be expensive. The good news is that they will last you a long time and your overall costs will be minimal. Disposable diapers liners look a lot like paper towels, but are more expensive. Using actual paper towels as diaper liners can be a good way to cloth diaper on a budget.

1
Decide how much absorbency you need and how many paper towels it will take to absorb that much moisture, taking into account that the paper towels will be folded in half. This is the hardest part, as some paper towels are more absorbent than others and every baby is different. If absorbency is not an issue, then one paper towel should suffice.

2
Count out how many paper towels you will need and tear them from the roll.
-
-
3
Fold the paper towels in half length-wise, so they will fit inside the diaper. If you fold them width-wise, they may stick out of the leg holes of the diaper.
-
4
Place the paper towels into the diaper right before you put it on your child. Make sure the towels are inside of the leg gussets, so they don't cause the diaper to leak.
-
5
Put the diaper on your baby exactly as you would without the paper towels.
