How to Display Candy Floss in a Bag

Enormous bags of candy floss are a fair favorite.

Candy floss, cotton candy or spun sugar: they are all different names for the same sweet treat. Brightly colored, fluffy candy floss is a fair favorite both with visitors and vendors. When selling it, you walk a fine line between keeping the candy floss fresh in a bag and having it visually appealing. Use clear plastic bags and colored candy floss to grab the attention of those who walk past. A cork board with the bags pinned to it can be used to display the candy floss on a wall. The board display makes it as easy as pulling out or putting in a push pin to remove and restock the bags.

Things You'll Need

• Candy floss machine
• Colored candy floss sugar
• Candy floss paper cones
• Clear candy floss bags
• Twist ties
• Cork board
• Push pins

Instructions

1. Prepare colored candy floss with the sugar in the machine.

2. Grip the pointed tip of the paper cone and insert the open end into the candy floss in the machine's pan. Wait until the machine produces a dense web of candy floss on the inside of the pan.

3. Lift the paper cone up and gently spin it to transfer the candy floss from the pan to the paper cone.

4. Hold a plastic bag open and the candy floss topped cone upside down.

5. Twist the cone as you insert the candy side into the bag until the bag completely covers the entire paper cone.

6. Close the bag at the base with a twist tie.

7. Hang the cork board on the wall or lean it against a table.

8. Insert a push pin into the top portion of the bag to attach the candy floss to the cork board.
