Becoming a model for Kohl's promotional materials is not an easy task, but there are steps to take to increase your chances of gracing those glossy pages.

Hire a professional photographer. In order to become a model with Kohl's, you'll need a portfolio. If you have no professional experience in modeling, find an affordable photographer to take fashion photos of you.

Contact modeling agents. Kohl's circular ad models are found via agencies in Milwaukee and the surrounding area. Because the store's headquarters are in the Milwaukee area, all circular production takes place there. Kohl's mostly relies on ARia Talent and Jennifer's Talent Unlimited, Inc. to supply models. ARia requires at least one photo to be submitted with an online application, and Jennifer's requires two headshots and two full-body shots with online submission. Kohl's also uses the Ford Models office in Chicago, as well as Elite Model Management.

Hire an agent. Once signed, you'll need to ask your agent to submit you for consideration for available Kohl's Corporation jobs. Kohl's obtains models from agencies only --- open casting calls are not utilized by the company.
