If you want to send a gift to someone who lives across the country, you may want to ship dried fruit. This is especially an ideal gift for college students or soldiers who could use a care package from home. Choose a box that is an appropriate size for your dried fruit. Do not use a large box if you intend to send only one or two items. Use a box that will prevent the dried fruit from moving around.

2
Fill the box with packing peanuts. Use them to fill one-fourth of the box.

3
Wrap the dried fruit in bubble wrap. Keep the dried fruit in the original packaging. If it is not in the original packaging, place it in a plastic container before wrapping it.
