How to Recover an FLV Data File After Deletion

FLV stands for Flash Video. According to the Open Source Flash website, "Flash Video is the name of a file format used to deliver video over the Internet using Adobe Flash Player." Every video you have on your computer that uses Adobe Flash has an FLV data file. When you delete a video from you computer, remnants of the file are still on the hard drive. Data-recovery software finds these remnants and then restores the deleted files to their original location. There are many free data-recovery programs available.
