Instructions

    • 1

Locate the audio output on the radio. Many radios will have RCA outputs with a red jack for the right audio signal and a white jack for the left audio signal. Other radios will have 1/8-inch or 1/4-inch audio outputs.

    • 2

Insert an audio cable into the radio's audio outputs. For RCA connections, match the red plug and white plug to their corresponding colored outputs. For 1/8-inch output, insert 1/8-inch-to-RCA audio cable into the output. For 1/4-inch output, attach a 1/8-inch-to-1/4-inch adapter to a 1/8-inch-to-RCA audio cable and insert it into the output.

    • 3

Locate free RCA inputs in the DVD recorder. These will generally be in the back or sometimes the front of the DVD recorder. There will be one white and one red input.

    • 4

Insert the RCA ends of the cable into the corresponding color of RCA inputs in the DVD recorder.

    • 5

Power up both the radio and the DVD recorder.

    • 6

Set the DVD recorder to the input the radio is now plugged in to. Generally the name of the input will be written or etched on the DVD recorder near the input.

    • 7

Insert a blank DVD into the DVD recorder's DVD burning drive.

    • 8

Tune the radio into the station from which you want to record songs.

    • 9

When you want to record a song playing on the radio, press the DVD recorder's "Record" button.
