How to Fill Out Money Gram Money Orders

MoneyGram money orders allow you to pay many bills without the need to write a check or put cash in the mail. Correctly filling out the money order allows the person you are paying to easily cash or deposit the money order. As of July 2010, MoneyGram updated the look of the standard money order but how you fill out the money order has not changed.

Instructions

1. Write the person or business name that the money order is for on the "Pay To The Order Of" line.

2. Sign your name on the "Purchaser Sign Here" line.

3. Write your complete address on the "Address" line. Be sure to include your city, state and ZIP code.

Tips & Warnings

• If you need to include an account number on your money order put it next to your signature or above your address.

• You cannot make changes to the completed money order. If you make a mistake, you must submit a claims card in order to have a refund submitted minus a $15 processing fee.
