How to Buy a Centrifugal Clothes Dryer
Modern clothes dryers all operate in a very similar way. The technology involved in operating clothes dryers has barely changed since their introduction decades ago. Basically, the motor is run by a centrifugal force, which means that the air moves away from the center. The force of the motor is what powers the clothes dryer and moves the clothes inside. Any clothes dryer you find in the market is a centrifugal clothes dryer. Does this Spark an idea?

Figure out what size centrifugal clothes dryer you need for your household. The size is determined by the drum capacity. The drum capacity you choose should be about twice as large as your washing machine, so you can put clothes right from your washer into your dryer. The capacity of both is measured in cubic feet.

Look for centrifugal clothes dryers that include a moisture sensor. This feature shuts off your dryer once the clothes are no longer moist. It's important because over drying can damage and shrink your clothes.

Research the differences between electric and gas powered drivers. Generally, gas clothes dryers cost more upfront but are more energy-efficient than electric models. But electric models are easier to install and do not need a gas hookup.

Pay attention to the features that come with the centrifugal clothes dryers you're thinking of buying. Features can make your life easier, but don't pay extra for a feature you'll never need or use. Some common features include a wrinkle-release cycle, a top-mounted lint filter, a drum rack for shoes and other items, multiple cycles and electronic controls.
