How to Play "GTA 4" Online on the PC

If you would like to play "Grand Theft Auto IV" online but are unsure on how to do this because you have a PC, you will be glad to know it is entirely possible. In fact, the same kind of online gameplay that is on the consoles is available for PC users to play via their PC copy of "Grand Theft Auto IV."

Things You'll Need

  • Windows Live account
  • Double-click on the "Grand Theft Auto IV" icon on your desktop. Before the game begins you will be prompted to create or log-in to Rockstar's Social Club. If you have not created an account with Social Club, create one at this time. If you have, log in. Wait for the game to load and select "Load" on the main menu to load your saved game.

  • Click "Up" on your keyboard to display your cell phone.

  • Click the main menu option on your cell phone. You will now see an option that says "Multiplayer" on the cell phone. Highlight "Multiplayer" and click "Enter" on your keyboard. You will now see different types of multiplayer matches. Choose one and begin playing online.
