Open-Source Screen Recorder Tutorial
Screen recorders are a must-have if you do lots of tech-related communication or computer walk-throughs. They record desktop activity such as mouse movement, audio and video playback and Web pages viewed. Users can then edit the data and compile movies and interactive demos. Open source is a method for developing software under peer review, which in theory produces a higher-quality, lower-cost product. Open source often is confused with open content or free content. Open source software always refers to software released under an OSI-certified license (see References 1, 2).
