Training with speed bags can help with many combat sports.

Speed bags are an effective training tool for boxers, kick boxers and mixed martial artists. They help improve hand-eye coordination as well as endurance in the muscles of your shoulders and arms. Most speed bags are sold separately from the base or swivel that allows them to swing. Properly attaching a speed bag to the swivel, of which there are many varieties, will be instrumental in allowing you to gain the advantages of training with the speed bag.
