How to Clean Stove Burner Bowls
If you're a busy cook, occasional boil-overs and stove-top spills are all part of the process. Even with a generous amount of elbow grease, the baked-on grime can be difficult to remove. With patience and persistence, the burner bowls can be restored to their original shine. Remove the burner bowls, and place them in a sink filled with hot, soapy water. Allow the burner bowls to soak for up to 20 minutes. Scrub the bowls with a cloth or an old scrub brush.

If the bowls are difficult to clean, and soap and water don't work, soak the burner bowls in a vinegar solution. Mix 1 cup of vinegar with 1 gallon of hot water. Soak the bowls for 30 minutes, then scrub them with a cloth or old brush.

Rinse the burner bowls with warm water. Dry them thoroughly before returning them to the stove top.

Tips & Warnings
To prevent stubborn, baked-on stains in your burner bowls, wipe up spills as soon as the burners cool.
Never place chrome burner bowls in the dishwasher, which can damage the chrome.
Never attempt to clean chrome burner bowls in a self-cleaning oven.
