How to Rid Cats From Flower Beds
When stray cats attack your yard, they often mark their territory on your flowerbeds and dig up the garden. You're left with a flowerbed that smells like urine; what's more, the urine often seeps into the soil and causes your plants to die. To keep the cats out of your flowerbed, use humane techniques that will not actually poison or kill the cat, but will instead work as a natural deterrent to prevent the cat from visiting your flowerbed in the future. Does this Spark an idea?

1
Purchase your choice of cayenne pepper, chili pepper or red pepper flakes. All are strong, hot substances to which felines are sensitive. If cats get this pepper on their paws and lick them, they will not return to your flowerbeds.
-
2
Sprinkle the powder you choose all over the flowerbed, scattering a thick layer around the perimeter of the bed.

Repeat this technique every week or so, or after rainstorms, when the pepper is absorbed into the soil and becomes ineffective. After a few weeks of the pepper application, the cat or cats should have moved along to another area, leaving your flowerbeds alone. Continue the application as needed to keep the cats away.
