How to Sync FTP Sites
For large Web farms, you synchronize multiple FTP sites to share the server resources across multiple computers. This is beneficial for large companies that serve millions of visitors each month. Your Windows Web server lets you synchronize FTP sites in the Internet Information Services (IIS) manager. The setup must be enabled on each computer you want to synchronize, and you must have a shared folder available on the network for each FTP Web server to access.
