Instructions

    • 1

Turn off the burner and allow the burner to cool completely before handling.

    • 2

Find the point where the burner connects to the receptacle. Push in on the opposite end of the burner coil and lift the side of the coil up. Grasp the raised side of the burner coil and pull it out of the receptacle. Lift the drip bowl straight up out of the range top.

    • 3

Fill the sink with hot water with some liquid dishwashing detergent. Soak the drip bowls in the sink for 20 minutes. Scrub the drip bowls with a scouring pad and rinse with clean water. Set the drip bowls into a dish strainer and allow them to dry completely.

    • 4

Wipe the burner coil with a damp cloth to remove light stains and grease. Do not submerse the burner coil in water.

    • 5

Mix a solution of baking soda and water in a small dish to create a smooth paste. Apply the baking soda paste to stubborn stains and spill on the burner coil with a cloth. Allow the paste to remain on the stain area for up to 20 minutes.

    • 6

Clean the baking soda paste off the burner with a clean damp cloth until all residue is gone. Place the burner on a flat dish towel to air dry completely.

    • 7

Place the drip bowl back into the burner opening on the range top. Ensure that the receptacle lines up with the opening in the side of the drip bowl. Insert the prongs of the burner coil into the receptacle and gently lower it into the burner bowl.
