How to Import a QBB File to Quicken

Quicken is a software designed for managing personal finances. Quicken saves backup files in the .QBB format. These backup files can easily be imported into the software and restored.

  • Open Quicken.

  • Click the "File" menu and select "Open or Restore Company."

  • Choose "Restore a backup copy (.qbb)" and click the "Next" button.

  • Select "Local Backup" and click "Next."

  • Find your .QBB file in the drop-down box, select it and click "Open."

  • Select the .QBB file again and click "Save." This will import the .QBB file into Quicken as a .QBW file.
