1
Set your hair using a one-inch curling iron. When you unroll the curling iron, keep the curl in place by holding it together with your hand. Using a small sliver clip, secure the curl to your scalp. This will help keep the curl intact. Continue to curl all your hair, securing each curl with a silver clip.

Take out clips once the hair has cooled.

3
Section out top layers of the hair. Make a part using a comb from the top of your ear across the back of your head. Pin this hair up away from the back of your head.

4
Take the remainder of the hair like you are making a low ponytail. Use a hair sponge, which you can purchase at a beauty supply shop, to roll your hair. Make sure to use a hair sponge that is the same color as your hair. Place the sponge at the ends of your hair. Roll the hair up in the sponge, as though you were putting it in hot rollers. Continue rolling until you reach the base of your neck. Then, using bobby pins, secure the hair sponge to the base of your neck.

5
Unpin the top layer of your hair. The top layer of your hair should fall over the sponge, concealing the bottom layers. If your top layer is too long, secure some of your hair to the hair sponge by using bobby pins.

6
Spray your hairbrush with hairspray and lightly brush the top layer of your hair.
