How to Find Out If Your Jeep Is on a Recall List
Automotive recalls occur when a vehicle has safety-related manufacturing defects or fails to meet federal safety standards. Recalls are either voluntarily issued by the manufacturer or ordered by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). Manufacturers are required to notify owners when their vehicle is recalled. If you did not receive a vehicle recall notice, you can still easily check to see if your Jeep has been recalled using the NHTSA website.
