Download and install the latest drivers for your particular sound card from the manufacturer's website. Double-click on the driver EXE file to install it on your computer. Sometimes, these EXE files are named "Install" or "Setup" depending on the software. You will have to give account control permission to install the software by clicking "Continue" when prompted.

Double-click on the mixer device EXE file, then wait for the software to be installed. This file also may be named "Install" or "Setup," depending on the mixer device software you are installing. When the administrative permission screen appears asking if you want to proceed, click "Continue."

Double-click on the mixer device's icon located on the bottom right of your desktop toolbar. The new mixer's control panel will open, allowing you make the desired settings for your sound card.

Tips & Warnings
