How to Set the Time on a 2003 Hyundai Sonata

Save

The Sonata is Hyundai’s offering against the Honda Accord and Toyota Camry, introduced to the United States market in 1988. In 2003, Hyundai sold over 400,000 vehicles in the United States; almost one-sixth of them were Sonatas, making it the South Korean company's third most popular vehicle that year. The 2003 Sonata has several options that can be adjusted by the owner, including the time on the digital clock.

  • Locate the digital clock, above the radio and between the center air vents.

  • Select and hold the “H” button (hour) until the correct hour displays on the clock.

  • Press the “M” button (minutes) and hold it until the correct minutes displays on the clock.

  • Select the “R” button (reset) to change the clock minutes to “00” and move the time to the nearest hour. This can speed up setting the minutes if desired.
