Canadian cell phone users who don't want to sign a contract may enjoy the flexibility afforded by SpeakOut cell phones. The company allows customers to purchase airtime minutes as they use them, essentially enabling users to pay for only the minutes that they actually use. The cell phones, offered through 7-Eleven stores, also have features that most cell phone users have come to expect, including voicemail.
Things You'll Need
- Personal voicemail security code
Turn off your cell phone if you have it with you. If not, you can still check your messages from a landline, but reaching your voicemail will take a few more seconds.
Dial your phone number from the landline phone. If your cell phone is off, it should go directly to voicemail. If your cell phone is on, wait for it to ring several times and then reach voicemail.
Press the "#" key when your voicemail greeting begins.
Enter your personal security code to access your voicemails.
Tips & Warnings
- If you forget your personal security code, you can dial "611" from your cell phone to have SpeakOut customer service reset the code for free.
