How to Update the TSX Navigation

The Acura TSX comes with an optional GPS navigation system. On a yearly basis, map updates are released that reflect current road information. These updates can be purchased from the Navteq online store. They are sent via DVD, and are a cinch to upload.

Instructions

1. Go to the Navteq website and click "Store -- Buy a Map Update" at the top of the page. Using the menus on the left, choose "Built-in, Factory Installed." Select "Acura," then click the first link shown.

2. Select "TSX" and the year of your vehicle from the menus on the left. The latest map update is displayed. Click "Add to Cart," then "Checkout." The update is mailed via DVD.

3. Start the vehicle's engine and power on the GPS. Insert the DVD into the disc drive. When the update screen appears, enter the authentication code provided, if prompted to do so. The update process begins.

Tips & Warnings

• Do not remove the DVD during the update process; this can damage the GPS.
