Bed liner spray is a product that allows you to apply a tough protective lining to the bed of your truck by means of a polyurethane spray. This product transforms from liquid spray form to a hard coating that is designed to stay on your truck's bed permanently. If you get bed liner spray on your hands, it is important that you take measures to remove it as soon as possible.
Things You'll Need
Apply a solvent containing xylene or acetone immediately after exposing your skin to the spray. Do this by pouring some solvent onto a rag and rubbing the rag on the affected area of skin.
Wash the area of skin thoroughly with soap and water.
Soak your hands in warm, soapy water for approximately 15 minutes if the liner spray has hardened onto your skin before you could remove it.
Scrub your hands gently together in the soapy water as you soak them. Some of the liner should come off. Any remaining residue should wear off within several days.
Apply a skin moisturizer to your hands.
Tips & Warnings
- Wear protective clothing and eye wear to keep this product away from your skin and eyes. Work in a well-ventilated area to protect yourself from the fumes.
