Resetting a copier to its original settings is a simple way to fix several problems.

The Toshiba eStudio 350/450 copier is one of the more popular copiers available in the marketplace. It has several features that make copying, printing and faxing easier, such as password protection and customizable settings. There are times, however, when a lost password must be recovered. Toshiba has provided a simple method to recover the password and, if need be, reset the copier settings.

Step 1

Make sure the machine is off. While holding down the "0" and "8" buttons on the keypad, turn the copier back on. Keep holding the "0"' and "8" buttons until the copier lets out a long beep. This will activate "Test Mode D."
