Portland, Oregon-based InFocus makes projectors for businesses, educational institutions and for home theaters. The projectors are designed to be installed in meeting rooms, classrooms and living rooms. Mounting installation options for InFocus projectors include table-top, wheeled cart and ceiling mounts. Depending on the kind of mounting option that is used, the image can be inverted. Upside-down images can be corrected by following some troubleshooting steps.
Look at the InFocus projector's casing andto see if the logo is upside down if the display is upside down. Certain kinds of mounting options, including ceiling mounts use the underneath of the projector to form the attachment. The projector will be mounted on its back. In this case the display will also be upside down. This inversion can be corrected. Correction can be accomplished by making software settings changes.
Press the "Menu" button on the keypad or remote and use the arrow buttons to highlight "Setup." Press "Select" to choose the "Setup" menu button.
Scroll to "Ceiling Mount" and press "Select," then use the up or down arrow to change the value to "On." Press "Select" to confirm the change. Press "Menu" to navigate back to the higher menu and then "Menu" again to exit. Try the InFocus projector display again and the picture will no longer be upside down.
