How Do I Add Bookmarks in Opera?

The method for creating a browser bookmark doesn't vary much between browsers. Opera, Internet Explorer, Chrome and Firefox all produce a bookmark dialog box for the current page when you press "Ctrl-D." Clicking the star at the top of the browser in IE, Chrome and Firefox brings up the same dialog. Opera takes bookmarking a bit further.

  • In Opera, at the time of publication, pressing the heart in the address bar brings up the Visual Bookmark dialog box for choosing where to save the bookmark. To add the bookmark to Speed Dial, hover over the top right corner of the bookmark dialog box to reveal the Speed Dial icon. The Bookmark dialog also enables you to scroll through several thumbnail options to choose how your Visual Bookmark will appear on the Visual Bookmarks page. To access this page, click "Show all bookmarks" at the bottom of the dialog box. This page also allows you to organize and edit Visual Bookmarks.
