How to Pour a Beer From a Bar Tap
Pouring a beer from a bar tap is not as easy as using a soda dispenser. Improper pouring can lead to an overly foamy beer, causing a mess or creating a glass of flat beer. 1
Set the glass of choice, such as a pint glass, into the freezer until it is time to pour the beer. A cold, frosty glass will help the beer stay fresh and delicious.
-
2
Hold the glass underneath the mouth of the bar tap at a 45-degree angle, and pull the tap to release the beer. Make sure that the beer is running down the side of the glass to the bottom.

3
Tilt the glass upright as the beer fills it, so that by the time the glass is full, the stream is just barely coming off the side of the glass.
