How to Connect a PC to HDMI

Save

When connecting a computer to a high-definition computer monitor or a high-definition television, one option is to run an HDMI cable between the computer and the display. Some individuals may already have an HDMI output on their computers, making the connection quick and easy. Others may have to use a bit more cunning, connecting the PC to the display using a DVI-to-HDMI cable or a DVI-to-HDMI adapter. Generally, the connection is never overly difficult and ultimately depends on the available outputs on the PC.

Things You'll Need

  • DVI-to-HDMI cable

HDMI-to-HDMI

  • Connect one end of the HDMI cable to the computer's HDMI output.
