How to Change the Toner Cartridge on a Samsung CLP-310
The Samsung CLP-310 is a color laser printer built for small- or home-office use. The printer is equipped with four different ink toner cartridges, consisting of yellow, magenta, cyan and black. The life of the cartridges depends on how you use the printer. If you are printing a lot of graphics and photos, the toner will need to be changed more often than if you were using it to print text-heavy documents.

Turn off the printer and wait about 10 minutes for the machine to cool down.

Press the small latch button located on the front of the printer and flip open the cover to access the ink cartridges.

Grasp the color tabs on either side of the cartridge you are replacing and slide it out of the machine.

Shake the new cartridge and remove it from its packaging. Take off the protective cover.

Slide the new cartridge into the machine with the color tabs facing you. Flip the front cover up to close and turn on the machine.
