The ramp can be painted, drawn on or decorated with stickers to suit the skateboarder's style. Instructions

    • 1

Use the measuring tape and the pencil to create two rectangles on the plywood sheet. One of the pieces should measure 40-by-30 inches and the other should measure 30-by-15 inches.

    • 2

Draw two additional triangular pieces. Draw the 90 degree angle, where one side is 15 inches high and the other line of the 90 degree angle is 40 1/2 inches long. When the L-shaped drawing is done, connect the two ends to create a triangle. Create two identical triangle pieces.

    • 3

Cut out the four pieces with the electrical saw and sandpaper the edges smooth from splinters.

    • 4

Place the 30-by-40 inch bottom piece down flat. Line the 15-by-30 inch plywood piece up to the end of the bottom piece, so this piece stands straight up in the air. Connect the two using the electric drill and screws.

    • 5

Place one of the triangular pieces up to the L-shape, so the 40 1/2-inch side lines up with the bottom piece and the 15-inch side with the piece standing up. Connect the triangular piece to the L-shape frame by using the drill and screws. Repeat this step with the other triangular piece on the opposite side of the frame.

    • 6

Use the measuring tape to measure the launch ramp surface to create the top piece of the ramp. The width should measure 16 inches due to the side pieces and the length is the angle side of the triangle piece. The measurement is best collected by using the measuring tape, as the length can vary slightly.

    • 7

Cut the piece out. Sandpaper the piece and attach it to the skateboarding ramp using the drill and screws. Decorate the ramp with paints, stickers or anything your skateboarder wants on the launch ramp. When the paint has dried, the ramp is ready for use.

Tips & Warnings

  • If you are a child or teenager, ask an adult for help to cut the plywood pieces with the electrical saw.
