How to Decorate Nesting Tables

Instructions

    • 1

Use two sets of nesting tables as end tables by your couch. Keep the tables nested and pull them out whenever you have guests. Place matching lamps on the largest tables and accessorize with small items around the lamps.

    • 2

Place nesting tables against a wall lined up in order from largest to smallest. On each table place a glass vase. You could either mix the colors up or opt for similar colors. For an interesting visual effect, use vases of three different heights. On the shortest table, place the tallest vase and on the tallest table, place the shortest vase.

    • 3

Transform your nesting tables into extra seating. Do this only if you have a very sturdy variety. Attach matching cushions to the top of each one.

    • 4

Keep your nesting tables semi-nested. Don't fully extend them from one another, but leave them sticking out enough to place small decorative objects, like a ceramic vase, antique books or whatever matches your personal taste, on them.

Tips & Warnings

  • An advantage of nesting tables is that it's easy to change the layout and decor of an area just by moving them around. Play around until you find a pattern that best suits the room.
