How to Read PC Health in Award BIOS
The Award Software company acquired by Phoenix Technologies in 1998 has been the major vendor of basic input/output system (BIOS) firmware for Desktop and notebook computers. BIOS is special program integrated into the motherboard that controls the computer hardware during booting and permits the configuration of system settings. Award BIOS includes the menu "PC Health Status" that allows you to find out the system temperature, computer fan speeds and the voltage information.

Restart your computer.

Press the "Delete" key on the keyboard when you see a startup screen with the motherboard logo to enter Award BIOS.

Use the arrow keys to highlight the menu "PC Health Status" and press "Enter."

Read the PC status such as CPU and system temperatures, the fan speed as well as the motherboard voltage.
