How to Change the Bulbs in SunQuest Pro 26 Tanning Bed
To keep a tanning bed working effectively, you must periodically change the tanning bulbs. According to the SunQuest Pro 26R user guide, you should replace the tanning bulbs every 800 to 1,000 hours. Although bulbs continue to work long after this time, they lose effectiveness, causing you to spend more time in the tanning bed to maintain your tan. Remove Acrylic Shields

Open the canopy of the SunQuest Pro 26 tanning bed.

Grasp the middle edge of the profile that runs along the outside edge of the tanning bed canopy, securing the acrylic shield. Pry it upward. The profile will swing open, releasing the upper acrylic shield.

Grip the upper acrylic shield with both hands and carefully slide it out of the recess.

Grasp the middle edge of the profile that runs along the outside edge of the bottom of the tanning bed, securing the acrylic shield. Pry it downward. The profile will swing open, releasing the lower acrylic shield..

Grip the lower acrylic shield with both hands and carefully slide it out of the recess.

After you replace the bulbs, you can then replace the acrylic shield by following Steps 1 through 5 in reverse.
Replace Bulbs

Grab the base of the first bulb in one hand and the center of the bulb in the other hand and turn it approximately 1/4 turn counterclockwise. Remove the bulb.

Repeat Step 1 to remove all old bulbs.

Insert a new DT71-T12-100W BI-PIN bulb into an empty bulb slot. Line the pins on the ends of the bulb up with the appropriate connectors in the tanning bed.

Grab the base of the bulb in one hand and the center of the bulb in the other and turn the bulb approximately 1/4 turn clockwise until it locks in place.

Replace each bulb with a new bulb. Follow Steps 3 and 4 to install each bulb.
