How to Pass FTP Credentials
Connecting to an anonymous FTP using Microsoft Internet Explorer web browser can be as simple as clicking on a hyperlink or typing the URL to the FTP site into the Internet Explorer address bar and pressing the "Enter" key. However, for FTP sites that require authentication, the method for providing a username and password is not self-evident.
