How to Install the IIS 6 Management Compatibility
Microsoft's Internet Information Services (IIS) software allows nearly any Windows-based computer to act as a Web server. It supports the serving of static files, media content and dynamic applications, while also providing helpful security, compression and administration tools. Applications that use either the Admin Base Object or Active Directory Service Interface API will not run properly on version 6 of IIS unless the software's Management Compatibility Components are installed. Once you know where to look, installing these components becomes a quick task.
