How to Mute Panasonic Phones Ringing

Panasonic phones have several ringing options including the ability to turn off or mute the ringing sound. Once the sound is muted, the phone will not make any audible indication when a call is coming in. The ringer on the phone can be turned back on at any time.

Instructions

1. Press the "Menu" button on your phone.

2. Press the "#" button.

3. Enter the number "160."

4. Select "Off" using the up and down buttons on the phone. Then press the button in the center of the directional keys to save. The ringer on your phone is now muted.
