1
Expose the cockpit area by pulling the cockpit frame away from the cockpit backrest. Grip the tension strap's end and pull it down to tighten the adult suspension. Repeat for the opposite side. You usually only need to perform this adjustment on the first use.

2
Pull the shoulder straps and waist belt to loosen them. Unbuckle the sternum strap. Put the carrier on. Buckle the waistbelt and move it up or down to adjust it until the buckle lies over your navel. Pull inward on the waistbelt webbing to tighten it until it feels secure, but comfortable. Pull down on the shoulder strap webbing to tighten it. Expose the adjustment point by opening the lumbar pad to adjust the torso length if the should straps do not properly adjust. Pull the adjustment cord and slide the belt up or down until comfortable. Release the adjustment cord.

Loosen the leg straps fully and unbuckle the shoulder harness and side-release buckles before adjusting the child's cockpit. Set the carrier on a level surface. Attach the snap-hooks to the steel rings to adjust the cockpit seat height. Attach to the upper seat rings to raise the height; attach to the lower rings to lower the height. Place your child in the carrier, placing both of his legs under the silver, padded leg straps. Place the harness over his shoulders. Adjust the harness until it fits securely by sliding the webbing on the seat's back up or down. Adjust the leg straps until they fit comfortably--they should not bind or pinch his legs--by sliding the webbing on the cockpit's side up or down.
