EBay allows you to start auctions for selling anything from designer purses to retro video games. Traditionally, sellers list auctions in the country in which they live to make shipping easier. It can also help avoid complicated currency conversions. If your target market lives in another country, though, you may want to sell your items for that country instead of your own. This way, the listing shows up for the people you want to sell to, and lists the price in that country's currency.
Visit the main eBay website. Scroll down to the bottom of the page.
Look for the country you want to sell in from the list underneath "eBay Sites." This list features all of the countries that eBay has special websites for. Click the country of your choice. One it is clicked, the name of the country will be in the title of the website. For instance, if you click "Australia," the website will say, "eBay Australia" in the title bar and, "ebay.com.au" in the address bar.
Click the "Sign In" link at the top of the page. Enter your user name and password. Click the "Sign In" button to sign in to your eBay account. If you don't have an eBay account, click "Register" to create a new account.
Click the "Sell" link at the top of the page. You may need to enter your account password again to move on.
Click "List Your Item." Enter the name of the item you want to sell. Enter a description for the item, as well as a starting bid. Follow the directions listed on the eBay Web page for each step of the process. When you're done, your item will be listed on the eBay auction website for the country you chose.
