How to Make Wire Loops for Jewelry Making
Homemade jewelry is fun to make, and when you have the right materials you can create stunning pieces of wearable art. Wire loops in jewelry serve as useful embellishments on which beads dangle for earrings, bracelet charms and pendants. Making wire jewelry loops is an easy to accomplish task that can be finished in minutes. Whether you're making homemade gifts or your own fashion accessories, homemade wire loops allow you to customize your looks with ease.
Things You'll Need

- Ring findings

1
Snip a 5 inch length of wire from the roll. Choose a wire color that corresponds with the color of jewelry you are making. Chrome or silver are common colors. Thin gauge wire is needed and can be found in craft or hobby supply shops or online.
-
2
Match the ends of the length of wire. This creates a long looped shape at one end.
-
-
3
Slide your choice of beads down the wire if you choose, creating your own jewelry design for an earring or pendant charm. If you wish to keep the wire loop bare for a minimalist look, proceed to step 4.
-
4
Twist the ends of the looped wire repeatedly, until only 3 inches of the loop are left. This leaves a twisted wire top protruding from the loop.
-
5
Wrap the twisted bit of wire around the middle of a ring finding. Wrap it repeatedly until the ends are not visible. This leaves a looped wire at one end and a tiny ring finding directly on top of it, wrapped in wire.
-
6
Squeeze a small dot of jewelry glue on the finding to make sure the wrapped wire doesn't come loose. Let it dry for 3 minutes.
