How to Clean a Tim Horton's Coffee Maker

Hollan Johnson

Tim Horton’s coffee makers are made by Bunn. The coffee makers are part of the line of Tim Horton store merchandise and it can brew 10 cups of coffee in about three minutes.

Like most coffee makers, the Tim Horton’s coffee maker should be cleaned about once a month with vinegar to remove any unsightly smells or messes from the machine.

  1. Remove any filters from the Tim Horton’s coffee maker and throw them away.

  2. Fill the water reservoir with 1 part water and 1 part vinegar. Turn on the coffee maker and allow it to run until the pot is half full. Turn it off for 10 to 15 minutes and allow the vinegar and water to soak. Turn the coffee machine back on until it finishes filtering the water. Turn the Tim Horton’s coffee maker off.

  3. Wet the cloth and add 1 tsp. of vinegar to it. Wipe down the outside of the machine with the cloth after it cools.

  4. Remove the coffee pot and discard of the vinegar and water mixture. Wash the coffee pot with warm soapy water and rinse well.
