The side fog lights on your Lincoln Navigator allow for better road vision in murky conditions. If they burn out, they should be replaced as soon as possible for safety reasons. Replacing a fog light bulb on a Navigator is an incredibly simple process that only requires a replacement bulb. The entire procedure takes no more than five minutes.

Instructions

      Park the Navigator on a flat surface. Turn off the vehicle's engine.

      Crawl underneath the front of the vehicle and locate the fog lamp assembly. It is located on the side of the front bumper, directly below where the headlamps are situated. Rotate the harness/bulb assembly counterclockwise in order to remove it from the fog lamp assembly.

      Disconnect the bulb from the harness assembly by disengaging the two snap clips. Push the new bulb into the harness assembly until the snap clips lock into place.

      Rotate the harness/bulb assembly clockwise back into the fog lamp assembly.

Tips & Warnings

  • Touching the glass of any halogen bulb may result in hot spots forming on the bulb's surface, severely reducing its life expectancy.
