Vitamin supplements take nutritional value from quality whole foods and put them into easily managed pill form for those who don't get enough of these nutrients from food and drink. While current security regulations require you to declare liquids, gels, medications and vitamins at the security checkpoint, this does not prevent you from bringing vitamins on board in your carry-on, as long as you declare them first at the security checkpoint. Once you clear security, you are free to take your vitamins as frequently as you desire.
Pack your vitamins in an easily-recognizable bottle, pouch or daily pill box. You don't have to keep your vitamins in their original bottle, but if you do it could speed up the screening process.
Declare you vitamins when you reach the front of the queue for the checkpoint.
Remove the vitamins from your carry-on bag and request a hand inspection at the beginning of the screening process if you don't want your vitamins to go through the x-ray machine. Otherwise, they will be screened with the rest of your luggage.
