      Soak a cleaning rag with white vinegar, squeeze it out and wipe over the stainless steel. The vinegar kills bacteria as it cleans the surface and removes residue. This works especially well to remove greasy food residue. Let the surface air dry.

      Drizzle baby oil over a new cleaning rag. Rub a thin layer of the oil all over the appliance, rubbing with the grain of the stainless steel.

      Let the oil sit overnight, and buff it off with a dry cleaning rag the next morning. Polish using small circular motions while wiping off the excess.
