How to Fix an Out of Focus Zenith TV

To adjust your TV's focus, check the sharpness and contrast settings.

An out of focus television can be distracting. Because of the special technology used in HD TVs, they are capable of displaying more pixels than regular televisions. The focus settings on your television can display high quality images, but if your Zenith TV is out of focus, the image quality will be blurry and poor. A television's focus is determined by the amount of light the television is putting out and the sharpness of the image, and can often be adjusted with just a few clicks of the remote.

Instructions

1. Press the menu button on your Zenith remote.

2. Use the up/down arrows to find the "Picture" menu. To select the picture menu, press the "Vol" button.

3. Select "Brightness" by using the "Vol" button. Adjust the television's brightness settings by using the volume's up and down buttons. Adjust the screens settings until the picture is bright enough to see.

4. Press "Enter" to exit the brightness menu.

5. Select "Sharpness." Press the volume button and adjust the sharpness of your television to fix an out of focus image.
