How to See Private Browsing

Private Browsing, also known as "InPrivate Browsing" is an excellent way to prevent Internet Explorer from storing Web files, including cookies, Temporary Internet files and history files. This makes your browsing experience private as other users do no have access to your browsing history. You can see and enable Private Browsing from Internet Explorer's "Tools" menu.

Instructions

Internet Explorer users

1. Launch Internet Explorer Web browser from the "Start" menu or desktop shortcut, whichever is convenient.

2. Click the "Tools" menu at the top bar of the browser.

3. Click "InPrivate Browsing." You may also press and hold "Ctrl+Shift+P" keys to see "InPrivate Browsing." This will force Internet Explorer to open a new window with an "InPrivate" logo next to the address bar.

Mozilla Firefox users

1. Launch Mozilla Firefox.

2. Click the "Tools" menu.

3. Choose the option "Start Private Browsing."

4. Click "Start Private Browsing" when prompted.

Safari users

1. Launch Safari Web browser.

2. Click the "Safari" menu tab at the top bar.

3. Choose the option "Private Browsing..."

4. Click "OK" when the warning box appears.
