Philips Magnavox Web TV is an Internet box you use in conjunction with your TV. The box allows you to access the Internet on your TV without the aid of a computer. However, the Magnavox Web TV is an older device that only accepts a dial-up connection. This connection is far slower than a standard DSL, cable or wireless, but it is still useful when all you need to do is access your email account.

Step 1

Connect one end of a phone cable to a local phone jack.

Step 2

Plug the other end of the phone cable into the line-in port on the back of the Philips Magnavox Web TV.

Step 3

Insert the RCA cable into the "Video Out" port on the back of the Philips Magnavox Web TV. Plug the other end of the cable into the "Video In" port on the rear of your television.

Step 4

Power on the television and the Philips Magnavox Web TV, then press the "Video" button on the television remote. You can now access the Internet and view it on your television.
