How to Connect My DVD Recorder to My Panasonic Television
A DVD recorder uses two sets of composite audio/video cables with RCA connectors on each end to receive signals for recording on a DVD, and sending the playback signals from a recorded DVD to a connected television. The cables are equipped with three plugs on each end that match the colors on the jacks of the DVD recorder and the back of a TV, including Panasonic television models.

Unplug the DVD recorder and Panasonic TV electrical cords.

Connect one of the composite cables from the three output jacks on the source signal, such as a satellite receiver or cable TV box, to the three color-coded input jacks on the back of the DVD recorder.

Hook up the second cable from the three output jacks on the DVD recorder to the three composite inputs on the back of the Panasonic TV set.

Plug in the electrical cords and turn on both devices.

Push the video input button on the Panasonic remote control until the video signal from the DVD recorder appears on the set.
