How to Change Time on My Uniden Cordless Phone With Digital Answering Machine

Uniden makes many different cordless phones with digital answering machines. There are phone systems with one handset or phones with multiple handsets. All digital answering machine have a few things in common. For example, setting up or changing the time on the answering machine is always performed the same way, with the buttons on the base unit.

Instructions

1. Press "Menu/Clock" on the base. On some units, you will see "Menu" only.

2. Keep pressing "Menu/Clock" or "Menu" until the voice announcer says, "Time." Press the "Vol/Select" button up or down to scroll through the options. The setting options include selecting the day, the hour, the minutes and a.m. or p.m.

3. Press the "Set" button when the announcer says, "Select the hour." Use the left or right arrow button to change the hour. Press "Set" when done.

4. Press the "Vol/Select" button again until the announcer says, "Select minutes." Press "Set." Use the left or right arrow button to change the minutes. Press "Set."

5. Use the "Vol/Select" button to hear the next option, "Select a.m./p.m." Press "Set." Use the left or right arrow button to select "A" or "P." Press "Set."
